There are so many options that you can no longer see the forest for the trees. Lubricants based on oil, water or silicone. Organic, natural, organic or synthetic. Warming or cooling. With or without flavour. Neutral or stimulating. Fortunately, we are here to make your life a little easier. We only offer two lubricants that everyone should have on the bedside table. One neutral and one stimulating.
You can read more about the neutral gel in this guide. Below we tell you more about the stimulating gel, also known as the orgasm gel.
What is a stimulating gel?
A stimulant gel or orgasm gel is a lubricant that - in addition to allowing body parts to move more smoothly over each other - stimulate blood flow towards the area where it is applied. This enhances the natural physical response that takes place when you are excited. Then the blood flow also increases. Towards your clitoris or nipples for example. The gel provides a light tingling sensation that lasts for about twenty minutes.
When do you use a stimulating gel?
For people with a vagina, a stimulating gel provides extra excitement, for a more intensive orgasm and thus for more sex pleasure. It ensures that your touch is experienced just that little bit more intense. And it strengthens the natural moisture production. So do you need some extra spice, or do you like to try something new? Then a stimulating gel is definitely worth it!Please note that a stimulant gel is not a substitute for a physical preparation for sex. In order to enjoy sex in a pleasant way, you have to get excited first, as usual. How you do that is of course up to you or you. With sexual fantasies, images, intimacy, foreplay, dirty talk, sex toys or oral gratification. So see the stimulating gel more as an extra. To increase your sexual arousal.
How do you use a stimulating gel?
Well, that's very simple. It goes like this:
- You apply a large drop of stimulating gel to your finger
- Then rub it in gentle circles where you want to create some extra feeling: your clitoris, nipples or wherever you want. \
- Please be patient for a few minutes before the magic starts to work.
It is useful to test some gel on your forearm beforehand. That way you know you are not allergic. Because our gel is water based, it is safe to use with silicone toys and latex.
What is in the Aia* stimulating gel?
It may sound a bit exciting, a gel that stimulates circulation and increases your feeling. But if you understand the ingredient list, you'll see that it's not that bad.
Our stimulating gel is made of water and glycerin, also the two main components of our neutral lubricant. We have added some extras to the stimulating gel. Propylene glycol is a safe synthetic substance with a moisturizing effect. Alcohol Denat or Denatured Alcohol is also often used in natural cosmetics: it dissolves essential oils in the product and it is used to extract certain extracts from plants. Carbomer is an emulsifier and thickener. It ensures that the gel remains a nice, even substance that spreads nicely. Polysorbate 20 helps the water and oil in the gel mix together. Sodium Benzoate is loosely translated 'salt from benzoic acid'. Benzoic acid is found in fruits, berries, apples, cinnamon, cloves, dairy and tea. We use Potassium Benzoate or Potassium Benzoate as a preservative. It prevents bacteria, yeasts and moulds. Because of course we don't want that in our gel.
PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil is a blend of safe, synthetic polyethylene glycol (PEG) and natural castor oil. Menthyl PCA is a skin conditioning agent. Disodium EDTA is a safe synthetic substance. Menthol comes from mint and has a cooling effect on the skin. Menthol also stimulates blood circulation, making the place where you apply the gel extra sensitive. CI 19140 is a safe synthetic dye. lemon yellow. CI 17200 is red. Aminomethyl Propanol is a safe synthetic ingredient for stabilizing the pH value, making the gel kind to your skin.
